You know that moment when someone swirls a glass, says “beautiful minerality”, and everyone else nods along? This is for that.
Join us on 29 May for an introduction to tasting wine more thoughtfully, through six carefully selected wines and a more systematic approach to understanding what’s in your glass.
Led by the Vinosity team and loosely based on the WSET Level 1 course, it’s a relaxed, approachable way to elevate your palate in a short space of time.
There’ll also be a charcuterie board involved, naturally.
17:30 for 18:00 — 20:00

Paulus Wine Co x Minimalist Wines x Glory
What’s better than a wine dinner with one winemaker? Two.
That’s exactly why we’ve invited Pauline of @pauluswineco and Sam of @minimalistwines to collaborate with Glory in Parktown North for a special evening later this month.
Enjoy six wines from these two producers, paired with an eclectic selection of chef Nick Scott’s dishes.
Time: 6.30 for 7pm
Date: Thursday, 28 May
Venue: Glory, 4th Avenue, Parktown North
Price: R850 per person
Paulus Wine Co focuses exclusively on Chenin Blanc, while Minimalist Wines is devoted entirely to Syrah. Just us as we explore the variety through different sites and expressions. Both producers are deeply rooted in place, with a clear focus on terroir and how it shows up in the glass.
Paul (Pauline’s business partner) honed his craft working with Eben Sadie, while Sam apprenticed under Chris Alheit. The influence of these mentors is evident, yet both wineries produce wines with a distinct sense of identity and personality.

Started in a tractor shed in 2001 by three friends who wanted better everyday wine without paying ridiculous prices for it.
@manfamilywines began with 600 cases of Pinotage has grown into one of the country’s most dependable names, built on old vine fruit, dry-farmed vineyards and long-standing relationships with growers who know exactly what they’re doing.
The wines are balanced, expressive and properly drinkable. Enough character to keep things interesting, without trying too hard to impress you.
Just honest South African wine made by people who clearly care about what ends up in the bottle.
MAN Family Wines is available in-store and on our portfolio for trade 🛒
You could overthink a Mother’s Day gift, or you could get wine. These are five we think your mom will love.
Picked by Ntsaki, these are made with intuition, with tenderness and tenacity, wines that, much like motherhood itself, balance complexity with grace.
In store now.
15 wineries. Countless pours. A lot of “just one more.”
Perfect weather, a proper Joburg mix of people, and music that really hit the spot.
Sunday was exactly what it needed to be.
Thank you for coming through.
We’ll do it all again later this year.
