Public Land. Some of my favorite family vacations growing up, time spent with friends, and solo adventures I’ve taken on a whim, have taken place on public land. If you’ve ever spent any amount of time on public land you know just how incredible and enjoyable these locations are. The possibility of these places going up for sale to the highest bidder is incredibly angering to me, and should be for anyone who utilizes them. Once they are sold we can never get them back! Do not sit back and be silent, call your senator and tell them why we need to keep public lands in public hands.
This Past July Dash, Spendo and I Backpacked up to Lamarck Lakes in the Eastern Sierra. One of the more memorable experiences I’ve had in these mountains.
