The ride of a lifetime 🧡
Thank you to my charity, @bigbuddynz and to all the viewers across Aotearoa for your endless love, support and for bringing the fury with me as we continue to run it straight towards something bigger than ourselves.
And to my fellow teammates & competitors: I genuinely can’t thank you enough for the opportunity to step into the arena alongside you incredible people and for the impact you have all left on this kid from Eastside 03 that once dared to dream as you all did.
Tūwhitia te hopo, mairangatia te angitu.
Ngā mihi me te aroha nui 🫶

There’s no script, no stunt double, and no second take? Vinnie Bennett is shifting gears and taking on the ultimate kiwi adventure 🍿
Celebrity Treasure Island | Starts April 27th on TVNZ 2 and TVNZ+ ❌🏝️ #CTI
Brought my digicam onto the set of ‘Sgt. Haane’ last year and caught a few moments between takes. Obviously not real soldiers but these photos do make me think about how young some of our rangatira were when they found themselves at war so far from Aotearoa.
For the Māori Battalion and all those who never returned home.
Nga mihi nui,
Lest we forget ❤️🤍🖤
There’s really no secret as to how or why I have this entire part of this song memorised; just Vyvanse and 6 hearty servings of grass fed microplastics. Daily.
Thank you.
Had the honour of speaking at the Mairangatia te Angitu Symposium for rangatahi a couple weeks ago. Such a beautiful and grounding experience connecting, learning and sharing stories with our future leaders in my hometown. Their passion and vision for change was a true reminder that the next generation is ready to lead and inspire us all. Dream the big dreams, push those boundaries and don’t let anyone ever tell you it’s impossible—kei ō ringaringa te ao! ✊ Ngā mihi nui koutou 🫶
Vinnie Bennett, (Kāi Tahu, Ngāti Porou, and Ngāpuhi) currently residing in Central Auckland, has made his mark in both local and international film. With roles spanning drama, action, and comedy, he has built a career defined by versatility and charisma.
That said, he’s basically New Zealand’s answer to “What if Dominic Toretto had a glow-up in his 20s?” He went from starring in local films to driving straight into the Fast & Furious franchise—literally. Somewhere, Vin Diesel is probably wondering if he accidentally time-traveled. 🐐
