POSTHUMAN is a hybrid theater performance combining dance, live music and more in an interactive environment.
Audiences explore a world shaped by a hidden signal that “optimizes” human behavior, moving through live cutscenes and open exploration. As different perspectives are pieced together, we invite audiences to ponder the question:

Join us for an exclusive evening of wine and chamber music at sunset with wine sommelier Theo Popov, hosted by Kristen Klehr. The event will feature a guided tasting of a variety of select wines from around the world, led by sommelier, Theo Popov (Vine Opera), paired with a live performance by Bay Area string quartet musicians Andrés Caveda & Jessica Folson (violins), Lorenna Garcia (viola), and Elmer Carter III (cello). Theo is based in San Francisco. He is an award-winning composer of music for the theater stage and film screen whose five operas have received multiple productions and awards across the United States.
His interest in wine was sparked by the numerous cultural, creative and epicurean parallels he observed between it and music.
He holds a Wine and Spirits Education Trust (WSET) Diploma and is a Certified Sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers Americas.
Theo is a passionate educator, teaching about music and wine – separately and together – through the prism of his company, Vine Opera.
