What I Like, a new song off my upcoming debut album, out now…
A love song. It’s been in my life for quite a while, a gift from @janghoononline to me. He wrote it and I gave it a try in my voice, added a bridge and some production. I feel very honored to have this in my catalogue. Oddly the song came together so naturally and the hardest part was figuring out the artwork. I ended up with at least 12 different versions of the collage so here are a few of the nicest ones. I dedicate the song to @tylerkupcho 🎧💜
Perfect Lines by @minilistar out now 🌟💫 This song started last year when me and @dniworld started up a discord songwriting camp weekend, and invited lis to write with us… I sent her this beat idea and she worked on melody and lyrics with @isid.or and they came back with a really amazing demo. I refined the production and we tapped @ricksynth_ to help as well, he did an amazing job elevating it. I managed to record some vocals at her place while on a trip to NYC, me and my boyfriend @tylerkupcho came over and he even helped tweaking some lyrics 🥺 We all went out to look at the supermoon after. This song is really special to me but also I feel like it really showcases Lisa’s strength as a writer and pop vocalist. It feels like a perfect pop song to me 💕🎧😁

‘Music for Platforms’ EP ℹ️📱 out now
I was inspired to make this EP after a lot of political and news TikToks started getting made under an old song of mine titled BRICS. I wanted to soundtrack the conversations that only seemed to be happening on certain social media platforms and online spaces.
I think social media platforms are inherently political but the way TikTok was being represented in the North as a threat to political stability was very interesting and I wanted to highlight that. The future is always uncertain and it was crazy to watch the spectacle of technology and politics evolve in real time as I wrote these songs late last year. So I made music that reflected the tension and chaos in that space.
