Human Forever wint een Gouden Kalf! 🏆 Na een premiere in Tuschinski, een premiere in Antwerpen, Bijna een jaar te draaien in de bioscopen van @pathenederland en nadat ruim 80.000 mensen de film hebben gezien, hoorden we vandaag dat de documentaire bekroond wordt met een gouden kalf. Bizar. Ik ben de mensen waarmee we dit avontuur mochten aangaan zo dankbaar en ik ben zo trots op met hoe veel passie zij deze film met de wereld hebben gedeeld! @7onathandejong @basbrand @teuntoebes Dankjulliewel dat jullie voor ons kozen om aan deze prachtige film mee te mogen werken. @bob.thole en ik mochten onze bijdrage doen met de muziek die zo prachtig tot leven kwam na opnames met @vegan_veronika en met @adam_quartet in de @wisseloordstudios . Composing the music for the documentary “Human Forever.” Here you see a snippet of the string recordings we did at @wisseloordstudios . The album is very versatile; from cinematic pieces to piano pieces to electronic soundscapes and beats. We feel blessed to have worked together with @adam_quartet and @vegan_veronika . You lifted this album to greater heights with your amazing performances. THANK YOU for letting us throw away the papers <3 And last but definitely not least, massive thanks to @teuntoebes @7onathandejong and @basbrand for involving us in the amazing journey that led to the release of this album. I often find myself looking forward to whats next, but today I stand still and enjoy what is right now 🙏🏼

Oh my goodness! Yesterday, the news came in that the score for "DRAWBACK" has been nominated for a MASaward. It's incredible to see our names listed among these other great composers and projects in the industry. For this project, my partner in crime @bob.thole recommended me as a sound designer and mixing engineer. Little did we know then that the music score (played by the @metropoleorkest ) would gradually blend with the sound design, forming a single audio entity. This intense collaboration sparked the beginning of our joint venture, now known as @blurred.audio . DRAWBACK is a silent movie, where music and sound play a crucial role in storytelling. Working together with @harald.swinkels and @carolinebevaart , we continually challenged ourselves to develop new concepts and innovative ways to translate them into both music and sound. A big thank you to Harald and Caroline for entrusting me with the opportunity to work on the audio for this film, to my partner in crime Bob for involving me in part of the music process, My wife @maria_goes_dutch for being amazing and always being there for me, @bigorange_theaudioagency for giving us creative space, and a heartfelt thanks to the @musicandsoundawards for this recognition!
