The Beaver Song - no that is not a euphemism
Over the past decade or so, successive Governments reintroduced Beavers to many rivers and waterways, were it turns out them simply doing their thing provides a huge boost to the surrounding nature.
As a Beaver's Dam holds back water, the stream widens, and over time the water gets deeper- providing a more welcoming habitat to marine life. Wetlands arise from spillage, and as the surrounding ground gets accustomed to soaking up water, these areas prove less likely to flood.
Beavers can't reverse Climate Change, but they can mitigate some of the effects.
I'm really glad I got suggested such a wholesome topic. This song proved a little tricky to perform, but I am glad I did it!

How I got the image for History Book - my upcoming EP
Those who attend my gig in London on the 22nd will get the opportunity to purchase a copy early!
Thank you so much @jazzy_inks for your spectacular work on the photos (and for a great shoot)
Huge credit to @barnabyslounge as well- a wonderful hub, and a key part of the Hastings music scene

I will take this moment to say a huge congratulations to Sam Battle ('Look Mum No Computer')- this was the first year in a while I hadn't listened to the song prior to the contest, and honestly, I really enjoyed the performance, and fully expected us to do better than we did...

It brings me great pleasure to share with you 'History Book' in it's entirety!
This I didn't see coming. Look, whether the initial requests were in good faith or not, it doesn't matter. I am so proud of the songs I wrote- songs on topics as diverse as the 7/7 Bombings and Sycamore Gap Tree, and I think these recordings do those songs justice. This project has really helped me hone my artistic instincts, and I think will prove influential in the long run. I honestly think I am a better songwriter and musician having done this EP.
I really hope you like it.
The first and last images above are the front and back covers, respectively, of the EP. I had a photographer shoot them, and they completely blow all the single covers (done by me) out of the water. That said, pop a comment below letting me know which image you like best, and be sure in future to let me know your favourite, and least favourite songs.
There's no label here, no PR, I'm doing everything myself meaning when an important family happens to get arranged on the same day my EP lauch, I have to put some sort of promo together quickly.
I've really enjoyed this. The crazy topics. Writing the songs. I can't believe how well songs like 'Spirit of London' went over, and I really hope you enjoy these recordings.
'History Book' is out now. This is only a small snippet of the songs, songs you can hear wherever you listen to music.
Thank you

One last track, one last trailer video. It will be sad to retire the 'Trailer Voice'
In all seriousness though, the History Book EP will be available wherever you listen to music from midnight
I sincerely hope you enjoy it
