I never crop my photos in post; I find the decisions I make during the shoot much more coherent & surprising… It’s an intuitive decision that I make without consciously thinking about it…

Here I particularly like the dynamic; the interplay between the areas of sharp focus & then the fading of the motion blur…
The light comes sharply from the front & is picked up slightly from behind; I also worked with light blocks to create a somewhat unreal mood…
But; I really don’t know how the black outline of the hand came about…
I was very surprised & also a bit proud;)

It was a lovely photo session & an inspiring collaboration for me…
I found the quality of the analogue again; the intensity of the material and its play with sharpness & blur within the drawing and of course the noisy grain;)
