Cosa c’è dietro la bellezza? Pensieri che arrivano all’improvviso, idee che vengono messe su carta, a volte stracciate, a volte salvate per trasformarsi, poi, in qualcosa di eterno. Spulciando negli archivi di Villa Pizzo abbiamo trovato proprio quei pensieri, poi diventate idee e poi bozze fatte a penna su carta, da cui hanno preso vita alcuni dei luoghi e degli elementi più magici ed eleganti di Villa Pizzo. Sapere che qualcuno, decine e decine di anni fa, ha avviato questo processo e questa magia, ancora oggi tutta visibile, rende la bellezza molto umana. - What lies behind beauty? Thoughts that arrive unexpectedly, ideas that are put down on paper—sometimes torn up, sometimes kept—only to transform, later, into something eternal. In the archives of Villa Pizzo we found those thoughts, first becoming ideas, then drafts handwritten on paper, from which some of Villa Pizzo’s most magical and elegant spaces and features came to life. Thinking about someone who, decades and decades ago, set this process—and this magic—in motion, still so visible today, makes beauty feel profoundly human.

Villa Pizzo has one of the largest botanica gardens on Lake Como. Here, it's important for every couple to find their own perfect spot to celebrate their special day of love. Some couples prefer an intimate ceremony with the lake as backdrop; some others prefer the blooming garden framing their love; some couples fall in love with the Villa's soft pink façades, others are enchanted by the sweet sound of the water flowing from the fountains. Every couple must find their own magical and unique place, the spot that makes them say: "this is where I feel home. This is where I want to say my I DO". Oggi condividiamo con voi una foto invernale fatta questa mattina da Anna, una dei nostri due custodi, poco prima di iniziare il suo turno di lavoro. ❄️🥰 - A few months ago we shared a picture of the summer garden of Villa Pizzo, taken by our gardener Simone. Today we want to share a picture by Anna, one of our janitors. She was there this morning, looking at the winter lake before starting her job and she took this picture. It's always so fascinating our lake!
