Happy World Theatre Day!
So lucky to have put on these shows over the last year - all unique in their own way but all carry a special place in my heart. Here’s to all the insane teams I’ve worked with to make them a reality 🥳
I would say this was an absolute dream come true but I don’t think my brain could even fathom that this was possible - directing a show at the MCC to over 10k people over 8 sold out shows 😭
I am so fortunate that I get to do this for a living, not only because my job is essentially telling wild, exciting stories but because I get to work with people who inspire me every single day. With this show in particular I haven’t only gained genius collaborators for life but wonderful friends that I can’t wait to work with again.
To the creative team, the stage management team, the crew, the puppeteers and the band, I thank you for making it an absolute joy to come to the rehearsal room even in the greatest moments of doubt. To our audiences, I thank you for the absolute openness and love in which you received this. To producers, @monsigneur , @ciecaofficial and the @fm_theatre family and @jamie__cardona , I am eternally grateful to have been given this opportunity. You have given my inner child everything he could have wished for!
Finally to Jamie, thank you for once again taking me on this crazy adventure with you. You are a once in a generation talent and it is an honour to be a part of your journey in this way. ❤️
