This looks more like The Shoppes (!!) at Marina Bay Sands today even though this was one of the proposals for what is now the Esplanade.

I have been meaning to meet Su Yeang – who helmed her eponymous design studio from 1983 to 2010 – for some time and am glad she accepted my invitation to view the BA(Hons) Design Communication graduation projects at The LASALLE Show 2025. It's a bonus that @justinzhuang was able to join, having previously interviewed Su Yeang a decade ago. Su Yeang's son, Jason, and daughter-in-law, Valerie joined the tour as well.
Some of the titbits shared by Su Yeang are neatly summarised in Justin Zhuang's 15 Feb 2012 survey of graphic design studios that were prominent between the 1960s to 90s on his blog.
Here's an excerpt: Another design studio set up by a female designer, Su Yeang is regarded as the most commercially successful designer of her times. She started her design career working in Cold Storage where she was the in-house designer for the corporate identities’ of the company’s various arms and the packaging of their products. In 1983, she formed her own studio and eventually sold it to a multi-national branding company. Her studio worked on the packaging of Tiger Beer for years, and also created the identities for The Esplanade and National Library Board. In 1997, the World Trade Organisation adopted the logo the studio designed as their official emblem.
