Spending the day where we were needed most. 🐾❤️
We teamed up for a special visit to @friendforanimaltrust , and the shelter animals completely stole our hearts. Every single one of them has a story, and getting to spend quality time with them was incredibly special.
But the real magic happened at the end of the day when we brought out the goodies. Every participant contributed handmade toys and treats, and seeing the dogs’ reactions to their new gifts made all the hard work worth it. 🐾📦

He was told to have a hernia at another clinic, but it turned out to be a severe lung infection. Some amazing treatment by the vets and he is back to his place like a true fighter.
His friends and his caretaker were the happiest to see him back 🧡
Daddy never taught me to fear animals.
From the time I was just 1 year old, he made me get close to them, understand them, love them and care for them. ❤️
At an age where most parents teach children to stay away from animals, my dad taught me how to stay close to them.
Not with fear… but with compassion. 🐾

Some rescues remind us why we do what we do.
We get abused, judged, and treated like useless humans sometimes… but this life, this feeling of saving a soul, is our real happiness.
Seeing them recover, stand again, and trust humans once more makes every struggle worth it.
Save a life someday, and you’ll realise the kind of miracle you became for someone who had no hope left.

The worst any dog can see is being abandoned. It not only breaks their heart, but breaks their soul as well. 💔
Very few dogs come out of this pain, while some slowly learn what life can be again after feeling love and care.
Durga is one such soul we rescued, if you remember her along with the pug. 🐾
We usually do not take in breed dogs, because many people simply dump them on us. We already have a large number of permanent residents under our care.
We are always happy to help, but with a few conditions:
• Expenses for the dog need to be raised
• Once fit, the dog must be taken back
• Foster, boarding, or adoption arrangements must be made responsibly
Please understand shelters are not dumping grounds. Every life we take in is a lifelong responsibility for us.
