🦅 Our first poetry workshop from our collaboration with the Aga Khan Centre starts this Saturday! Join April Yee to explore the thin line between art and poetry through this poetry and collage workshop. Inspired by the Aga Khan Centre’s Canticle of the Birds exhibition—itself rooted in The Conference of the Birds, the 12th-century Persian poem by the Sufi poet Farid ud-Din Attar—this workshop series continues the exhibition’s spirit of translation and transformation. Lovers of words in all languages welcome—poets and non-poets, translators and non-translators. Book now from the link in our bio. See you there! 🦅 #wemakecamden #canticleofthebirds #poetrytranslation #agakhancentre #poetrytranslationcentre #poetry #translation #translatedlit #londonworkshops #london #camden

Last Thursday, VFP had the wonderful opportunity to visit to learn more about palliative care services, wellbeing support, and planning guidance available to our community. For many Vietnamese community members in London, this was their very first experience learning about these important services. Members found the visit useful, reassuring, and beneficial, helping raise awareness and confidence in accessing support when needed. Thank you to the amazing team at St Christopher’s for welcoming VFP so warmly and helping us continue building stronger community connections through information sharing and care. 💙 #VFP #VietnameseCommunity #LondonCommunity #PalliativeCare #WellbeingSupport CommunityAwareness InformationSharing

We are incredibly honoured to receive this Certificate of Recognition from and for VFP’s contribution to the Violence Against Women and Girls Grassroots Fund over the past 2 years. For more than 20 years, VFP has worked closely with the Vietnamese community, supporting women, families, and vulnerable individuals through advocacy, education, wellbeing activities, and community engagement. Our mission has always been to create a safe, connected, and empowered community where every voice is heard and every person feels supported. ❤️ This recognition is not only for VFP as an organisation, but for every volunteer, supporter, partner, and community member who has stood alongside us throughout this journey. Together, we continue to break silence, build confidence, and create positive change for future generations. Thank you to everyone who believes in our work and continues to support our community. 🌸 #VFP #CommunitySupport #VAWG #VietnameseCommunity #WomenEmpowerment LondonCommunity TogetherWeRise

Thanks to Sophie and Roxanna from Meet Me at the Albany for visiting our weekly luncheon club. Members had fun making stuff, including knitting and boards...and savoring Bun cha ca.

Our latest Bamboo Dance workshop was a hit! 🌟 Watching our younger generation connect with this traditional Vietnamese dance is so inspiring. It wasn't easy at first—learning the grip, timing the jumps, and keeping the rhythm. But as we always say at VFP: Confidence is a process. From hesitant first steps to full-speed dancing, everyone embraced the challenge and, most importantly, had a brilliant time doing it. Check out these highlights of our future stars in action! 🎥👇 #VFP #VietnameseCulture #LondonLife #BambooDance #YoungCreatives HeritageInMotion

VFP is delighted to share the success of our second collaboration with King’s College Hospital! Together, we supported 30 more community members in accessing Hepatitis B & C testing—bringing the total to 67 tests delivered so far. This initiative helps provide peace of mind, with results available in just 15 minutes after testing. We’re proud of this impactful partnership between our charity and the hospital, working together to improve community health and wellbeing. #vfp #vietnamesefamilypartnerhip #vfpgiadinhviet.

Protect your business and put things right. HMRC is taking action against till fraud, and some businesses are already facing convictions as a result. It’s a reminder of how important it is to prioritise the long‑term health of your business. If you have been misusing your till to hide sales and reduce tax, now is the time to come forward. Telling HMRC can make a huge difference. It can significantly reduce your penalties, help prevent prosecution, and ultimately protect the business you’ve worked so hard to build. Doing the right thing now sets you up for a stronger, safer future. Protect your business and put things right. HMRC is taking action on till fraud, and businesses are already being punished. Investigations are underway, and HMRC regularly makes visits to businesses unannounced to check for potential till fraud. If you’ve been misusing your till to hide sales and reduce tax, this is the moment to come forward. Being upfront with HMRC can make a real difference - it can lower penalties, help prevent prosecution, and protect the business you’ve worked hard to build.
