My piece for UH Spirit 2026๐ฅ
no amount words canโt express how thankful i am for this opportunity and for this team. spirit was such a comforting environment last year where i was able to just be myself and being able to captain it this year was so fun! itโs going to have such a safe space in my heart
i created this piece with the intention of calling back to different moments in recent UHFSA history: Womens Bball Team โBreezyโ of 2025, Sunflowers from the Panagbenga Festival Set of Isang Mahal 2025, and UHModern 2024 and 2025 Enders!
i want to thank @ianpiq@alexdtraan@naomiorion@michael.elarmo for helping me bring my vision to life, as well as just creating such a fun and memorable piece for everyone to enjoy. it was such a theatrical and eye catching set. i love yall.
and for my spirit members, thanks for sticking around and trusting us and our vision to be apart of this team. to think that we started learning my piece at the RDK space to what it is now, its really come a long way. it really means a lot and seeing everyone post their dumps and stories really brings tears and love to my heart to see that you guys enjoyed being in spirit this year. i hope this was a core memory for you guys and you guys continue to dance and jive! remember to not be boring because we are spirit๐คฉโค๏ธ
