Went to the @sacramentoautorama over the weekend, and it did not disappoint. Some insanely beautiful builds came to play, including "HIDDEN PARADISE" the judge's definitely had their work cut out for them again this year. Glad to finally see the Lowrider Culture getting the love it has always deserved. Tag owner: #sacramentoautorama #lowrider #kandy #chrome #wayoflife sacramento

Art is supposed to make you feel something, and building one of a kind art such as Lowrider or Lowrider Bicycles is an art form all its own. @agelessstyles02 put his whole heart into this badass 12" build and it shows. Art in Motion #lowriderbike #lowridermagazine #lowriderbicycle #kandy #chrome

Some of you may have seen my stories the morning of the lunar eclipse, and some of you may have missed it. I had just gotten off of graveyard shift and made a mad dash home to try and catch a little bit of the worm moon before it was over. What took place was something I can't seem to find any answers for other than "ALIENS." I had my 1200mm telescope mounted up to my astro modified camera, and it took far to long to get it dialed in enough to get a somewhat sharp image. But what it captures is sometimes what our eyes can not see. As the moon lowered onto the western horizon, I noticed some strange things showing up in my frames (*as you will see in last couple captures*) it was almost like a vortex opened up around the moon, and as it did so it became difficult to keep things in focus. Looking through some of the stills, I could see something black moved through the frame, and there was also a bright flash on the moon surface as if something reflected. Maybe it was man made, maybe lack of sleep... but the fact that I caught some images of said WTF-ness is pretty interesting. To add to this, @luna_light__photo also caught a couple images where the moon had a double and some strange flares coming off what looked like the surface of the moon as well. It has also been 333 years since the Salem Witch trials and then we had the full moon lunar eclipse on 3/3 at 3:33am. Take it as you will, but there are some unexplainable things that took place. #fullmoon #lunareclipse #salemwitchtrials #canonphotography

I collect Hotwheels, and diecast cars. I usually only find the leftovers on the shelves because scalpers, and employees in the back stock areas have already ripped through the cases and took anything worth collecting for themselves. So randomly finding one of the hard to find Car Tuned in the wild, and an error at that is something rare for me... Now if only I could find the elusive Drip in the wild. #cartuned #diecast #chevyc10 #toyotasr5 #error

I'm late to the party, but here is a quick video of @lugos_engraving working his magic @castatefair 2025 at the CaLowFornia Love exhibit... I still have yet to offload some video from my camera. I'm so behind on edits. I hear @sacramento_lowrider_commission is bringing the heat to the Fair again this year, stay tuned. #calowfornialove #lowriderexhibit #californiastatefair #lowrider #engraving

Nobody ever sees the long hours, the sleepless nights, the setbacks and retakes; they only ever just see the final product. I have put many miles under my feet and clicks on my shutter to capture life the way I see it. The value for me is seeing smiles when people look at what I have created, that makes me the richest man imo. Art is supposed to move you, make you feel something, so I always try to find a story to tell with each frame I freeze. These images are just a glimpse of what I have made over the years, and there are thousands more that have never even been seen. I just hope one day you find your value as well. #lifeisart #earth #photographer #sacramentophotographer #canonphotography

Have you been down to the @crockerart and checked out the massive exhibit featuring the Art from "RCAF" yet? If not I highly recommend it. Takes you into the History of the founders and artists of the Chicano art movement deeply seeded here in Sacramento. If you have not already, you still have some time to go and check it out. The pieces on display are beyond inspiration. #chicanoart #rcaf #Sacramento #crockerartmuseum

@luna_light__photo recently showed me a post that described the “fish bag theory,” and I can’t stop thinking about it, it went something like this. "You know when you win a goldfish at a fair and they give it to you in that little plastic bag? The fish isn’t in the pond yet, but it’s also no longer in its old tank. It’s just floating, in between places. That’s what transitions feel like sometimes. Scary, tender, and uncertain, but also kind of sacred. You’re not stuck. You’re just in the fish bag. On your way to a bigger aquarium." 🐟 Her showing this to me was at just the right time. After 13 years working at Mortons the Steakhouse I put in my two weeks notice. Over the years I have met a lot, and I mean a lot of people both clients/guests and employees. For 13 years I worked my ass off with a lot of pride behind what I did whatever that job was, only to be told eeeehhhhhh by uper management any time I asked about moving positions or money talks. They wanted someone more qualified, more flexible (*even though i was the only one to EVER be on time and offer to stay on*) Many people came and left over the years, many things were said behind my back, and then smiles in my face; but still I pushed on regardless. I have never been one to get close to people I work with, but at Mortons, being there so long it was hard not to. It is going to feel strange not getting ready to head to the restaurant for my shift, but it was a stepping stone in life and it is time to take thst bigger step forward. It is going to be really hard for me to say my last goodbye to some of these people, and if I am being honest I may tear up a lot. If I could give any bit of advice to anyone still reading this, it would be this. Do the things, do the things that scare you, take the next step, don't stay stuck in a fish bowl when you can be swimming in a bigger pond. Don't be afraid of the change no matter how scary it may feel, because that change is what might be needed for you to see your self worth. #fishbagtheory #nextstep #life
