The 95 year-old Texas Theatre keeps the spirit of showmanship alive, and Barak Epstein - our latest #FacesOfExhibition subject - is a huge part of making memorable events happen for Dallas audiences. Decades after the old-fashioned horror show fell out of favor with audiences, he showed us around his cinema on the night of legendary film critic Joe Bob Briggs's Silver Scream Spookshow marathon, and the results were one of the wildest moviegoing experiences we've gotten to capture for our series.

Season 4 of the Video Crypt has come to a close and we want to thank everyone who came through this years installation. Hearing your stories and seeing all the pictures and really is what this experience is about, providing those special memories of your past or creating new ones for a new generation of tape heads.
…but wait we have one more chance for a few folks to see the Video Crypt and also help us get started on Season 5.
This is call for creatives to use the Video Crypt as a location for making a commercial, short project film, trailer or bumper but the only catch is that is has to be done by November 10. This can be DIY and we’d like to use your work as part of a VHS compilation for season 5. To use the place please coordinate with us on Instagram
