I feel like so many actors are deeply vulnerable ā and I know I am. I take words to heart that should probably stay outside my soul.
Posting here isnāt easy for me. I never wished to be famous ā I just want to act.
Iām sharing this out of gratitude and awe for what good guidance can do. Itās truly magical how a great director, casting director, or acting coach can bring out something new and unexpected in you.

The longer I work in this industry, the more I realize thereās no single ācorrectā path.
Different casting directors want different things.
Different agents give opposite advice.
Different countries work differently.
Whatās one piece of acting advice you stopped believing?
I say this as someone who LOVES training and who has done years of classes myself.
But at some point, growth also comes from:
ā being on set
ā auditioning
ā doing self tapes
ā making mistakes
ā understanding casting
ā learning how the industry actually works
I think many actors stay in an endless cycle of classes because it feels safer than going out there and trying to work.
Training is important.
But real experience changes you differently.
What do you think?

Working in casting changed the way I see acting.
You start to understand how many decisions, constraints and perspectives are involved ā and how much actors can actually influence, even in a short audition.
Itās not just about ābeing goodā.
Itās about being clear, specific, and easy to work with.
a day in my life when Iām not filming (which is most days hehe š)
trying to stay consistent with my skincare routine, even when Iām just at home or running around between castings and everything elseā¦
Iāve been using the 107 Beauty Double Layer Milky Serum and I really love how it feels on my skin ā itās super lightweight but still hydrating, and it doesnāt irritate my skin (which happens quite easily). I also like that it layers well under makeup, so I can use it both on slow days and when I actually have somewhere to be.
