🌿Last week I had the opportunity to travel to Narrabeen with @wwf_australia to visit @sydneywildliferescue ‘s Mobile Care Unit and meet the incredible team of volunteers, vets and a few of the native animals that were in for treatment.
It was so inspiring to see first hand the love and care the team selflessly provide the most vulnerable of our native wildlife (ie two beautiful orphaned baby Brushtail possums, an under the weather water dragon and a rainbow lorikeet with a bad wing).
Sydney Wildlife Rescue is a fantastic organisation that works to rescue and care for sick, injured and orphaned native wildlife and safely release them back into the wild. Along with educating communities about protecting our native wildlife and preserving their habitats.
Run by passionate volunteers who donate their time, skills and homes to care for and rehabilitate the animals
that come into care, funding is 100% donation based and has been under immense pressure following the most recent floods and prior to that, the bushfires of 2019/20.
