I discovered this clip in my camera's SD card, while I was organizing files a few nights ago. I honestly don't even remember filming it, but it looks like it was around the time our debut album "Cross Me Twice" was released about a year ago.
Based on my reaction at the end, I probably wasn't happy with it, which is why I blocked it from my memory. Now? I think it sounds great. Sometimes we're too hard on ourselves, chasing perfection when it doesn't even matter.
In a world where we've come to question what's real within all the AI, just do the thing and post it. Include the mistakes, aka the human element.
Imperfections and all, at least you know I don't fake my one takes 💅

My vocal track here is super raw. I pretty much just threw a compressor on there. Nothing else. I wanted the dynamics to be prominent and for it to sound closer to what a real live performance would be like.
Huge shout out to @telefunken_mics for having my back all these years. I've been using their mics for over 10 years now and I finally got to use the legendary ELA M 251 to record this song, as well as all the upcoming @sickxsense music this year! 2 years ago, @ksherwoodops invited me to feature on BO6 with the song 'Slave', which ended up becoming a fan favorite. We loved the track so much, we decided to add it to our setlist with my band @sickxsense and saw many COD fans come out to hear it live. Fast forward to today, here I am again with a new song! I can't thank Kevin enough for putting his trust and fully allowing me to bring my own stamp to his music.
I had an absolute blast working on this song! This one goes hard, I promise you. It truly showcases many different facets of my voice, a huge range of dynamics accompanied by incredible musicianship from the dream team who put this together!
