Ως ιδρύτρια της asterisk* και καταξιωμένη παραγωγός, η Βίκυ Μίχα έχει αφιερώσει την τελευταία δεκαπενταετία στη δημιουργία γεφυρών μεταξύ της Ελλάδας και της Ευρώπης.
Έχοντας στο βιογραφικό της εμβληματικούς τίτλους που έχουν παρουσιαστεί στα φεστιβάλ της Βενετίας, των Καννών και του Βερολίνου, βρίσκεται διαρκώς στην πρώτη γραμμή της ευρωπαϊκής κινηματογραφικής δημιουργίας.
Η πορεία της, που ξεκίνησε από τη δημοσιογραφία και πέρασε από το Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο, τη Σουηδία, την οδήγησε στα μεγαλύτερα φεστιβάλ του κόσμου, εκπροσωπώντας επάξια την ελληνική παραγωγή.
Στο TEDxAUEB 2026, ανεβαίνει στη σκηνή για να μας ξεναγήσει στο δικό της “Μεταίχμιο”: εκείνο το κρίσιμο σημείο ανάμεσα στην αρχαία κληρονομιά και τη σύγχρονη ταυτότητα, αποκαλύπτοντας πώς ο κινηματογράφος δεν είναι απλώς τέχνη, αλλά το πιο ισχυρό εργαλείο soft power που διαθέτουμε για να πούμε στον κόσμο ποιοι πραγματικά είμαστε.

asterisk*’s founder @vicky_miha joined the panel “Promoting European Cinema and Democracy in the Future MEDIA Programme”, moderated by Julie-Jeanne Régnault (EPC).
The discussion focused on how upcoming EU-level initiatives — including AgoraEU — may reshape the future of the MEDIA programme, and what this means for European cinema as a space for artistic freedom, independence and democratic values.
Alongside a conversation with MEP @laurencefarreng , the panel brought together industry perspectives from @jannaszewski (New Europe Film Sales) and Jakob Kijas (Eksystent Distrubution), reflecting on why MEDIA remains a success story for cultural diversity, and why it matters more than ever.

It feels like everyone is talking about @tamarakotevska ‘s MAN VS FLOCK! 🎬
As recently featured in @deadline and @screendaily Tamara Kotevska, the Oscar-nominated director of HONEYLAND, will be presenting first images of her first fiction film in @lesarcsfilmfest later this month and asterisk* will be there.
Set in a small village disrupted by the construction of a new highway, the story centres on an elderly farmer, who finds himself fighting for his land against a Chinese construction company, with the conflict soon extending to his own family. An unexpected twist comes when a social media influencer crash-lands on his property and becomes his unlikely ally.
“Man vs Flock explores the clash between tradition and modernisation, resistance and acceptance of change, and the question of what it means to preserve one’s identity in a world increasingly driven by profit,” says Kotevska.
Supported by national film funds across the region and Eurimages.
Now in post-production and set to premiere in 2026.

Vicky Miha founded asterisk* in 2019 and has been working as a producer and consultant in the UK, Greece and Sweden for the past fifteen years. Vicky is a board member of the ACE Producers Network and the Hellenic Film Academy, and she frequently collaborates as an expert with EAVE. She represented Greece at the EFP Producers on the Move program during Cannes 2023. Her credits include asterisk*s films, as well as titles such as DOGTOOTH (Oscar Nominated & Cannes Un Certain Regard Award Winner 2009) by Yorgos Lanthimos, KM by Christos Nikou (Rotterdam 2013), MODRIS by Juris Kursietis (Special Mention San Sebastian & TIFF 2014), HIWA by Jaqueline Lentzou (Berlinale 2017), among others. She studied Journalism and Media in Greece, and Film Production in the UK.
