Digital is not just about technology.
It’s about behaviours, emotions, identity.
Today’s platforms don’t only influence what we do —
they shape how we feel, how we connect, and sometimes how we escape.
👉 That’s why digital education matters.
At Youth Digital Leaders, we support young people in developing the skills, awareness and critical thinking needed to navigate these environments with confidence.
Because being online is not enough.
Understanding it is what makes the difference.
✨ Become a digital leader of tomorrow.

📘 Just TRY: a handbook for performative critical practice for young people
⸻
We are excited to present the handbook developed within the TRY project – Theatre Reconnecting with Youth: Inspiring Co-creations, bringing together methodologies, approaches, and practical tools shaped through two years of collaborative work with young people in the field of contemporary performing arts.
The handbook is intended for educators, artists, and anyone interested in developing participatory and critical practices with young people, offering a flexible framework adaptable to different contexts.
A big thank you to everyone who was part of this process — especially the young participants, collaborators, partners, and friends of the project who helped shape TRY.

We don’t always go online just to “use” digital tools.
Sometimes, we go there to disconnect, to relax… or to escape.
And that’s human.
But when digital spaces become a refuge, it’s important to ask: where is the balance?
At Youth Digital Leaders, we explore not only how technology works, but how it shapes our behaviours, emotions and daily lives.
Because digital education is also about understanding ourselves.
💬 Do you ever feel like going online helps you escape — or avoid something?

Last month, the LED Project brought together youth workers from Italy, France, Belgium, and Czechia for an intensive 3-day experience in Brussels, all about digital leadership and staying safe online. 💻
Check out what they've learnt and what they think being a youth leader really means! 👥
We would also like to thank our PET Co-coordinator @srdjan254 for delivering the training and @veleno_production for photos and videos. 📷
