Taking over from Thelma this Thursday at the Berkeley Suite will be AKA DISPLAY.
AKA DISPLAY has been on a steady rise in the Scotland underground techno scene as of late. The Glasgow DJ is carving out a distinct lane with a sound centred on hardgroove and dub techno, delivered at a faster, more driving pace. His sets are built on pulsating percussion and controlled progression, keeping the energy locked in while subtly shifting the mood across the floor.
Following a recent appearance at Terminal V, he returns with new material, his debut EP - Hardwire, showcasing a sharper, more refined edge to his production style. He brings that momentum straight into The Berkeley Suite this Thursday.
