My Dad was a diplomat who played all sorts of instruments. Growing up, we had an electric guitar, electric piano, bongos and xylophone in my home. The music that he played and the variety of sounds that he would incorporate during sessions with friends follows me to this day.
Your style of music:
Melodic afrohouse with heavy African references and soulful Alte guide me at every step.
However, I also respect the music of the DMV and its musical tastes.
Your accolades:
I am a community organizer, creating events for black men to bond through my organizing group “Brews with Bros.” Additionally i am the ERG lead for Black @ Meta, working with other ERG leads to connect black professionals to network, and socialize.
