Born and raised in “The Town” Oakland, California, LV is not only a DJ, but also an accomplished drummer and talented music producer and attributes early studies of violin, saxophone and drums as the beginning of his career in music. LV credits the drums as the instrument that made it possible to pick-up, play and create intricate, creative rhythms and beats - cementing his music career as a DJ. His ability to seamlessly blend songs and produce creative mixes gradually grew from spinning at house parties to headlining as the DJ at several prominent Bay Area clubs.
LV has blessed Atlanta with his laid back style and unique vibe. You can find him spinning at some of Atlanta’s hottest spots, and exclusive after parties. Additionally, LV has shared the stage with numerous multi-platinum artists such as Ne-Yo, Ludacris, A Tribe Called Quest, Erykah Badu, Cee-Lo, Queen Latifah, Brand Nubians, Too Short, Donell Jones, Tito Jackson, Joe, Big Boi, Eric Roberson, Ciara, Nelly, T.I., Robin Thicke, Usher, Doug E. Fresh, John Legend, DJ Jazzy Jeff, and the Legendary Sting, just to name a few.
LV is also the visionary and proud founder of Cool Dads Rock (est. 2013), a non-profit organization aimed towards building lasting and memorable relationships between fathers and their children.
From the Bay to the A with a few detours in between, LV spins it all from Hip Hop and R&B to House, Funk, Soul, Reggae, Salsa with a few left turns to keep it interesting. LV keeps you on your toes with his fresh creativity and prepares you to elevate your mind and your ears as he takes you to new levels by bringing what Atlanta has been wanting for years.
