A deep dive into the world of How to Train Your Dragon with VFX Supervisor Christian Mänz — exploring Berk’s creation, its characters, and the VFX magic from concept to final frame
Granite Imagery once again impresses with their latest VFX work for this advertisement, directed by cinematographer/director Djordje Stojiljkovic. This marks their third collaboration following the short film Anima and the feature film Kalki 2898 AD.
For this project, Granite Imagery created a complete New York-style street environment in full CG. The team seamlessly chroma keyed the actor stepping out of a hotel and walking the red carpet, integrating them into the digitally crafted street.
The background was fully built in Blender, while the compositing was done in Nuke. They also added CG paparazzi capturing the model as part of the scene, completing the immersive experience.
