💡 Luca’s specializes in traditional heritage Italian pasta recipes, prepared daily with fresh ingredients. They target food lovers, families, and anyone craving an authentic Italian dining experience with the focus on fresh pasta.
✏️ I had a bit of fun with this, and unleashed my inner Italian (I am not even close, but my name is). I wanted to do more playful illustrations and this was the perfect playground :)

💡Terra mori is an innovative cafe bar that serves matcha and coffee merging the high-end ritual of Italian coffee with the meditative precision of Japanese matcha culture. terra means the soil of the coffee bean and mori the japanese forest.
✏️ Painted logo!! I wanted a not so polished look for this brand and I’ve painted a bunch of coffees and matchas with gouache so it felt fitting
Combining italian x japanese roots was definitely a challenge, where I tried to show more them through the color palette I chose combined with the japanese typography :) wanted to use my sketches again but finding a way to make them function in a different way than I have done before

My sketchbook spreads from Japan! 🇯🇵
So much inspired me and I tried to do a spread on each of the locations I went to :) It was also a great opportunity to try out the pens I bought there hehe
What caught my eye in Japan as a designer (so many!)
A digital diary ish on the cool things I saw on my trip, whilst I also got to design for a poster for an event in Tokyo 😇 I am finally getting around to editing the pictures and videos I took there so expect more :)

💡Yumm is a cookie bakery that’s not basic, they offer soft buttery cookies made to be addictive.
✏️ Got a little carried away with this and ideas were popping up as I worked in this brief :) challenged myself not to rely on a mascot and fully focused on the initial concept!

Poster for @feyblhouse ‘s After Dark 4.0 🌙👾
The series continues with a whole different concept! Loved doing the details on this one and it was my first time drawing things in 8bit ☺️
How I’ve improved my sketches and art style over the years:
1. Not going for the pencil: I still do when I go for realism, but most of the time going in straight with a bolder instrument like pen/ ink/ brushes helps me a lot with more confident lines!
2. Time: I set myself a LOT less time to complete my sketches, this makes me do loose lines and not dwell too much on the details, and most of the time I end up liking it a lot more
3. References: Instead of relying on pinterest, I added new references from real life or just using myself. Depth and perceptions with changing references matters drastically imo.
4. Practice: The most basic but important bit is that I’ve sketched more to improve 😆 I’ve filled sketchbooks with a lot of bad drawings inside to get where I like them to look!

💡 Don Fuego is a modern restaurant built around open-fire cooking. It’s all about heat and shared plates made to be enjoyed together. The vibe feels social and warm, with food prepared in full view and served straight from the flame.
✏️ I wanted to use my sketches into branding again and found this brief to be the right place for it, incorporating both together is always so fun and rewarding :)
