THIS IS THE FACE OF GOLDEN YEARS.
First of all we want to say a huge thankyou for all the love and support over the last few months, this wouldn’t be possible without all of you, especially the ones closest to us. Our mission has been, and always will be to make the scene safe. We will always put that first.
It’s really no secret the women in this industry get treated completely differently to the men but we want to change that. The rave should be a place where people can let go and dance their problems away carefree and safe. At no event will we tolerate harassment of any kind. To anyone.
We also won’t tolerate the disrespect and harm that women come under in the rave scene, as we the girls from Golden Years face daily for being a 90s rave collective. We won’t be quiet about the issues we face because we hope to bring about change, a place of respect for the people, the music and the art.
We are here to look out for you and rest assured you can dance easy at any Golden Years event.
