Ending the week with some exciting news! We are thrilled to announce details of our Meadow Cladding demonstrator project with Josef Gartner GmbH (part of the Permasteelisa Group) which is currently being grown and tested in Gundelfingen, Germany. As we move closer to Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) becoming a mandatory part of the planning system in England and the implementation of more stringent EU biodiversity regulations, we believe our Meadow Cladding technology offers a great opportunity for sustainable architecture and opens up completely new possibilities for responsible design. To read more about the project, head to the link in our bio!

We love this video we created with Wild Hope! It showcases beautiful shots of our test wall, where we’re continually perfecting our products, alongside our founder, Alistair Law, sharing what makes Vertical Meadow so special. 🌿✨ Let us know what you think, we’d love to hear your thoughts! #VerticalMeadow #WildHopeTV #UrbanGreening #Sustainability #GreenInnovation

London looks different through the eyes of our Vertical Meadow bee. 🐝 Every green wall becomes a lifeline. Every patch of biodiversity becomes a place to land, feed, survive and every blank construction hoarding is a missed opportunity. At Vertical Meadow, we believe construction should do more than build. It should give back. Create ecosystems. Support pollinators. Because the future of development isn’t just about what we build it’s also about what we restore. This is more than greenery. It’s a movement. At Vertical Meadow, we’re here to lead that change. #Buildsustainablecities #SustainableConstruction #VerticalMeadow #Biodiversity Can you find any ungreened hoarding before our Vertical Meadow Bee does. Progress update from our green wall on Regent Street. It’s exciting to see new shoots establishing so well, the coverage is now becoming beautifully uniform and the façade is starting to develop that rich, green meadow-like effect we envisioned from the outset. Beyond the visual impact, the wall is already bringing more texture, biodiversity and natural colour into the streetscape. Looking forward to watching it continue to mature over the coming months. #GreenWall #UrbanGreening #LivingWall #RegentStreet

Celebrating 100 incredible years of Sir David Attenborough. A lifetime spent showing us the beauty and complexity of the natural world reminding us why it must be protected. At Vertical Meadow, his legacy continues to inspire how we bring nature back into our cities, one space at a time. Here’s to a century of curiosity, storytelling and care for our planet. 🐝

Something exciting is on the horizon at Vertical Meadow. We’ve been on site filming at one of our largest living walls at Union Wharf and it’s a proud moment to see it come to life. Being part of the ongoing transformation at Canary Wharf is something we truly value, and this next chapter of Canary Wharf 4.0 promises even more to come. Looking forward to sharing more soon ! #Verticalmeadow #biodiversity

New week, new install. We’re really excited to be collaborating with @barrattlondon_ and @barrattredrow on this new vertical meadow. At every stage of construction, integrating nature should be a core priority, a way to give something back to the environment even as development progresses. Even the smallest meadow, will transform into a thriving ecosystem, supporting biodiversity and bringing life to its surroundings. We have AI-powered biodiversity monitoring cameras installed across all our sites, tracking insect movements and identifying species. We are able to measure our biodiversity impact clearly, turning observations into meaningful trends and tangible data. We’re looking forward to watching the wall evolve over the coming weeks and thank you to everyone who was involved in bringing this project to life. Stay tuned 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

We are already seeing the amazing biodiversity on our Vertical Meadow Wrap site hoarding with @suburbanrailloop . These amazing photos were taken by ecologists Lookfar Research and show the visitors up close in all their vivid colour! We've spotted so many of insects at the wall, here's five of our highlights: 1. White-banded grass-dart - A small native butterfly found mainly across SE Australia that pollinates plants and is associated with grassland habitats. 2. Pacific damsel bug - Native Australian predator that helps reduce populations of pest insects. 3. Rutherglen bug - A native Australian bug that provides food for spiders, birds, reptiles and other predators. 4. Torymid wasps - A super specialised group of tiny native wasps that contribute to natural pest suppression. 5. Mirid bugs - A diverse group of native bugs that form part of the natural food chain in the Australian bush. This hoarding is part of the Buzzing Burbs' program, to create more friendly places for native pollinators including birds, bees, bats, butterflies and other wildlife in the SRL East neighbourhoods. In the middle of a big construction site it's great to see insects thriving!

Little update from Vertical Meadow at Regents St. We’re so excited as we’re already seeing a beautiful wave of fresh green coverage taking hold. Such a rewarding feeling to watch a space begin to transform into a breathing ecosystem, even in the heart of such a high-energy location on one of the busiest roads in London. Stay tuned… the flowers will be emerging very soon 🌸
