The VAI Executive Team had a great time visiting GE. Thank you for the tour - we were able to get a glimpse of the history of the company, including the GE Aerospace Museum, and insight into some exciting innovations for the future. We can't wait for what's in store!
That’s a wrap on FIDAE 2026 in Santiago, Chile. VAI was excited to participate in this year’s event, including a session on the future of vertical flight.
Thank you to Loreto and ACHAV for the invitation and for the amazing work you are doing; and to Ecocopters for their outstanding hospitality and the opportunity to see your impressive operations firsthand.
It was also a pleasure connecting with our LATAM members in Chile, we truly value the experience and look forward to seeing you again soon.

VAI visited Rotor Technologies and tested out their simulator, getting a firsthand perspective on their systems, and seeing the Airtruck up close highlighted their tangible progress.
Next up was JBI Helicopters. The team got to take a deep dive into their safety protocols and their diverse range of services, from utility work and maintenance to their specialized expertise in agriculture and aerial spraying.
These visits are always a highlight, giving us the opportunity to connect directly with the people and ideas driving our industry. More to come!
