Radical Love Club EP is out now on @vermilliontrax CARV and me are beyond excited to finally share with you our 4-track collaboration If you are interested here is the origin story about how we first met: A couple of months ago I was asked to make a remix and after working on it for a long time they told me they would cancel the remix due to some misunderstanding. @kobosil had posted a video of himself trying out my remix and the artist said he thought that was really uncool that I had forwarded the track without approval and said that he would cancel my remix. I still don’t know what on earth could be wrong with a big artist like Kobo supporting your release but he thought it was unprofessional that I leaked the track before the guy himself had even heard it. I said that is how I work, I test it myself and I ask some others to test it also for a second opinion. Anyway, I was pretty upset about it because I loved what I did to the track. The main melody that I added was stuck in my head for weeks so I decided to create an original track out of the stuff that I made. The truth is what I did was heavily inspired by CARV and I reached out to him to ask if he wanted to work on it so we could release it as a collab. He agreed and started working on it. There was immediately a really good connection between Fritz and myself and after finishing Radical Love Club we decided we should try to collab on a few more tracks and see where it brings us. I had a lot of ideas of stuff that I wanted to make but honestly even though I play a lot of harder techno I don’t quite enjoy making it myself. So collabing was an interesting way to translate my ideas into new music. We worked together for a couple of weeks and many Whatsapp voice memos and WeTransfer downloads later the EP was finally done. We hope you all enjoy listening as much as we enjoyed making it.
