A1 Verhall - Mudcrack [RAUM005] Driven by his passion for immersive sound and community, Verhall has steadily carved out a distinct voice as a DJ, producer, and curator. By co-founding his imprint “RAUM Records,” he established a platform where both renowned and emerging artists can share their vision of deep, hypnotic, and atmospheric techno. With his collective “Qualia,” he has created a space in Vienna where fellow music enthusiasts can come together and express their passion for the genre.  In his productions and DJ sets, he explores dark, atmospheric, and organic soundscapes, blending influences from different eras and subgenres while maintaining a strong focus on storytelling and danceability. Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about how much of my inspiration comes from being on the move, traveling and reconnecting with nature — from quiet moments, unfamiliar places, and the feeling of not quite standing still. Traveling has a way of opening up new sounds, textures, and ideas that stay with me long after the journey ends. In the past few months, I spent a lot of time in the studio finishing projects that I began during our road trip to Portugal at the end of last year, while also creating new pieces from field recordings and little fragments I collected along the way. Here are some pieces I’ve been working on recently, paired with images from our beautiful journey. Let me know which one resonates with you the most ✨

HOLEY MARCH 2026 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️ We gather again this time on Friday, March 6, and what a banger of an artwork we have! We’ve been dreaming of collaborating with BORA for a long time and now it’s finally real. 🤩 Her multidimensional queer universes feel like they were built for nights like ours. Her work „I see all of you – You see all of me” goes straight to the core: visibility, vulnerability, power. 💥 And that’s exactly the HOLEY spirit. A space where we don’t perform who we are – we embody it. Where queer bodies, stories and desires exist fully and without compromise. 💅🏻 On the decks, we’re proud to host Clarisa Kimskii. A Berghain regular and longtime force within queer techno culture, she brings her psychedelic, tribal and driving sound to Rote Sonne. Joining her are Munich’s own Louis EMP and Verhall, both stepping into HOLEY for the first time. Fresh pressure. New dynamics. Same sweat-soaked floor. ✨ This night is about presence. With his collective „Qualia“, he also created a space for fellow music enthusiasts to come together and share their passion for techno. In his DJ sets, he explores dark, atmospheric and organic soundscapes that blend together music from different times and subgenres, always keeping the focus on storytelling and danceability.

Hello there, my first track „Nocturnal Plains“ track has been released last week. I’ve been making music for quite some time now, but until recently I kept everything to myself, planning to make my first release on our label @raum.records . However, I was given the opportunity to contribute a track to the „With You - Against Silence“ VA that my dear friend @_geistfrei_ curated, and I felt there could be no better reason to share my music than to help in the fight against the ongoing suffering in Palestine. It is a fundraiser compilation that brings together 17 beautiful contributions from a variety of artists - sharing their music in solidarity with the people of Palestine. All incomes of this project will go directly to the Jordan Hashemite Charity organization which has recently been able to enter the country to provide urgent medical and humanitarian aid. Thank you to everyone who celebrated our third release with us at @clubrotesonne last Friday. Not only was it my solo debut there, but it also was our first time hosting a night at such an iconic venue. Music-wise, I couldn’t have been happier. All the sets were incredibly good and it was an absolute pleasure to share the lineup with three of my favorite artists. When I first started DJing, playing at Rote Sonne felt almost impossible. It still feels a bit unreal, and I keep reminding myself how special this is. Big thanks to @_geistfrei_ for being on this journey with me, to @confusion_raserei and @thomstraxx for their amazing sets, and of course to the entire @clubrotesonne crew for making this night happen. Last weekend, I had the chance to play at @clubrotesonne for the first time. It’s the club where I’ve probably spent the most hours on the dancefloor and where I got a big part of my electronic music education. Getting to finally experience it from the other side of the booth felt really special. I’m truly grateful for the opportunity and hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. A huge thank you to my friends from @unknown_future_kollektiv and @casual.tunes_ for making this possible.
