For @chez.amelie and @leolanzinger wedding — staged in the stunning court of @borgogallana — we designed both the menu and the table setting to mirror their love: a fire that burns fiercest in the dark.
Opposites, ice and fire, translated into food, into ritual, into flame.
The story unfolded in courses:
It began in Tokyo, where the promise was made. Mackerel, lightly cured like Japanese shimesaba.
It moved to Trento, land of encounter and memory. A risotto dish - warm, rooted, and deeply personal.
It ended in Puglia, the wedding ground with a spit of freshly caught fish, all from the southern sea.
The finale was fire itself: a cake set ablaze by their own hands, sealing the rite.
Falling in love again and again with the audacity of Amelie and Leo.

we experienced the art installation in the room through the colors of food—an homage to the bright shades and happy smiles all around us. and above it all, a rainbow lit up the sky.

Lived our best design fantasy with @isaloniofficial and @neumann_comm at the @gisbertpoeppler Showroom in Berlin. This year Salone’s theme (stone, flower, sponge, wood, and mineral) unfolded through textures and materials discovered in Pöppler’s archive (an inspiring place to wander).
Our menu? A tribute to Milan’s industrious spirit and culinary heritage.
