Our 4Square fourplex went from slab to framing just as the weather (and lumber market 😬) turned hot last year. But we pushed through and got each two-bed, two-bath unit framed up. We took footprint and design cues from midcentury manufactured homes. Little flairs and nods, like the canted elevation along 14th St., harken back to that flamboyant era.
To get moving on turning one home into four, we had to do quite a bit of demo and site work at 4Square. First we abated the older vacant home, then took it down and cleared the site to make way for new foundations. Stormwater requirements meant we had to find room for underground cartridges and a vertical drywell, too. Our pad pour had the team up early—we beat the sun to work that day! Every milestone matters, but a project really starts to feel real when concrete goes down.
Long time, no post! Figured we’d change that and share a small housing infill project we broke ground on in 2021. Meet 4Square! Four two-bed two-bath casitas replacing what was just one home for the last few decades. As demand and development pressure continue to intensify in Central Phoenix, we see incremental growth like 4Square as a great way to welcome new neighbors to town. Stay tuned as we share progress photos over the coming weeks.

Arrive’s pool and patios are where the property really comes together. We love celebrating landscape and indoor/outdoor environments, and so much of this urban resort campus happens outside, with everything from expansive outdoor dining to shaded swimming.
