It’s great to see it wearing it’s period 2006 LeMans 24hr PlayStation livery once again!
2006 in particular was a special year for DBR9#3, featuring 11 races under the Aston Martin Racing banner, a full ALMS season plus Le Mans, where it finished in 2nd place in GT1 with drivers @tomasengeracing@darrenturner007@andpiccini
In 2006, DBR9#3 also posted a pair of class wins in the ALMS at Salt Lake City and Petit LeMans and finished on the podium everywhere else apart from a 4th place at Laguna Seca! With @peter_kox on duty for selected races.
Chassis 3 has just completed a trouble free shakedown and 2 day test at the impressive @ascari_club@white_labelevents GT1 event and we hope to see it back out again very soon!...

The road to the 2026 Monaco Historic starts here…💥
When @maxgirardo made his Grand Prix de Monaco Historique début almost two years ago driving our mighty Minardi M185/B, we all reflected on what was without doubt among the greatest weekends of historic motorsport we’ve ever experienced. For Max, though, despite an admiral 11th-place finish in a fiercely competitive ‘Race G’ (for three-litre Formula 1 cars built between 1981 and 1985), it was a case of unfinished business. He felt, at least, that he’d left too much on the table.
With that in mind, when the entries opened for this year’s edition of the Grand Prix de Monaco Historique, there was next to no hesitation about filling out the forms and greenlighting the race-preparation of M185/B 002 once again. This time around we’ve entrusted this not insignificant task to our friends at @ventureengineering , which will be running multiple cars in different grids across the Monaco weekend. We’re in particularly safe hands with Venture – the Oxfordshire-based outfit comprises many former Prodrive personnel and has been tasked with running Ford’s 2027 World Endurance Championship Hypercar programme...

Successful shakedown laps at Snetterton with a true GT1 icon.
Chassis DBR9-106 back on track after its meticulous restoration by @ventureengineering , who did a fantastic job bringing the mighty V12 back to life.
More than just a race winner, 106 stood on the top step of multiple GT1 races and famously finished 3rd in class in the 2010 24 Hours of Le Mans. As part of the restoration the car returned to its original 2010 Aston Martin Young Driver livery, proudly wearing #52 once again.
Seeing and hearing this V12 stretch its legs again — exactly where it belongs.
