Connection is more than just a conversationâitâs preventative mental healthcare. âš
This Mental Health Week, weâre highlighting the vital role of community care in Quebec. With waitlists for traditional services often stretching from 6 to 24 months, many Quebecers are left navigating their mental health journey alone.
We believe you shouldnât have to reach a âtipping pointâ to be heard. Statistics show that a strong sense of community belonging makes us 61% more likely to report excellent mental health.
Community organizations are the frontline of prevention, acting as a âpressure valveâ to break isolation and build resilience before a challenge becomes a crisis. But for this safety net to hold, we need to value and invest in the community spaces that keep us connected.
How to find support today:
- Book a free active listening session and connect with an empathetic listener.
- Consult our Resource Directory to find a curated list of mental health services in Quebec
Both can be found at the link in bio đ
No matter where you are, you shouldnât have to wait to feel lighter. Weâre here to listen.

Thank you to everyone who joined us at yesterdayâs first edition of our new series đȘĄ Stitch Over Tea âïž where we delved into a beginner cross stitch workshop and got to hang out, meet new folks, sip on some tea+coffee and work on something creative together! We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did. Thank you to Vent Over Teaâs own, @mari__norton for being an incredible facilitator and creating the most adorable patterns for everyone to work on! And lastly, thank you @cafepista for hosting us, as always. Your space has been an incredible hub for our community to gather and connect đ
