Last week at @velourgarments we hosted our first ever workshop in Madrid, inviting friends and family to garment dye some pieces using natural pigments.

@velourgarments new offices. After almost 5 years grinding and building this project all the way from a 12 square meter room, I can finally start to see the light.
Thanks to each and every one of you who have trusted in this from day one, and for those who need to hear it: Yes, it is possible! Just go and get it.

This custom project was born from the idea of reusing used sneakers, giving them a new life through a process that involves covering the entirely of the shoe with a lightweight cotton fabric for its later garment-dyeing.
With a handcrafted yet minimalistic aesthetic, I have tried to merge the values we work with at @velourgarments , with those of the @asics brand and its deep Japanese roots.
The project will be displayed at Velour Garments London Pop-Up from December 17th-22nd, consisting of 7 pairs that have been garment-dyed in different colorways that will be raffled among all the attendees of the event.
After several months of research and hard work I am proud to announce my involvement in Avia as the creative director and product developer assistant. Can’t wait to share more details with you all, available this March!
