Workin some speed drop that @nnivk taught us. This was at like 596 on a 20” wide torso with a 14.5 6 arc. @mountainsmulletsmerica calling hits and @themormonmarauder probably just looking at me in disgust.
Definitely didn’t give this stuff the time of day in the past, but def something I am going to continue to mess with and proof out on a few different guns. I saw the value in it. It’s a good rep to learn platforms better and know the guns more intimately. Theres a threshold for this, like anything, but getting a chance to rep the concepts and put them into use is always valuable for me.
Still marinating on the WPPR course in Idaho, and already trying to find a way to get back there and train with those guys again.
There’s a lot to unpack from the last few days in Idaho - and there will be much more on all of this in the future.
For now, thank you to @nnivk@mountainsmulletsmerica@themormonmarauder (listed from smallest to largest) for putting on the WPPR course - Western Practical Precision Rifle. 3 days of awesome and punishing terrain. This class, facility and cadre are special.
One thing that I can never emphasize enough is the knowledge that is passed on and the weight and currency often behind those lessons. The investment into another human is really worth more than gold.. and that isn’t lost on me.
Im thankful.
And 6 ARC gang. Type shit.
Rad week at @indianaswat . I am humbled that we were asked to show up and teach this week with both classes filing immediately. Honored to have a small part in helping change the culture and hopefully raising the standards for officers and agencies. Indiana has an amazing culture already and the progress they have made is a testament to the work put in by the men and the leadership that has enabled them to chase “better”.
Thanks to @haydenfrey23 for coming up with me, and investing in other dudes who do the job. Without him pushing me and bouncing ideas off him, we wouldn’t be where we are today.
Thanks to @indianaswat , and Austin for thinking enough of us to bring us up here. Thanks to the students who signed up. And thanks to @flatlinefiberco for the support and logistics too.
Forward. Always.
3D is up on the site. Class is half full already. Curriculum is always changing slightly and have some new things shaking out on this one. Should have some industry homies at this one as well.
Check the site, or if you got questions ask them below.
“We are so accustomed to the comforts of “I cannot”, “I do not want to” and “it is too difficult” that we forget to realize when we stop doing things for ourselves and expect others to dance around us, we are not achieving greatness. We have made ourselves weak.”
Forward. Always.
12” ARC is best ARC.
Shorty gun that can stretch the legs has me feelin some kinda way. About every ammo I had on hand shot a minute or better.

@veilsolutions on his journey in ISP After Dark Ep # 202. By design, Chris Woomer mostly runs under the social media radar. But, IYKYK.
I encourage you to know about him like many others do. He’s brilliant and solid as they come.

My guest today is Chris Woomer, founder of @veilsolutions . Chris is a designer, builder, and instructor who has spent years developing holsters and equipment for responsibly armed citizens, law enforcement, and military professionals. He’s also a masterclass competitive shooter and martial artist who approaches his craft with the mindset of both an artist and a problem solver.
I first came across Chris while searching for people presenting ideas rooted in philosophy and methodology rather than internet noise. His stoic approach, deep conviction, and willingness to challenge conventional thinking immediately stood out. We finally had the chance to sit down face-to-face at SHOT Show 2026.
Chris isn’t chasing hype or headlines. He’s focused on the work—often behind the scenes—pushing the industry forward through thoughtful design, hard-earned experience, and a relentless pursuit of getting it right.
