I’ve been building this account for 6 years, sharing recipes and learning in public — but I’ve never properly introduced myself. So. Hi. I’m Anna ⏾ I’m a vegan food creator, a nutrition student, a tantra yoga teacher, a cacao ceremony facilitator, a private chef for retreats and spiritual events, and the co-founder of @letawaken . April 23rd is the most beautiful day of the year in Barcelona. We celebrate Sant Jordi where we celebrate love in the most poetic way: a rose and a book. And behind this beautiful tradition lies an ancient legend… It is said that in the town of Montblanc, a fierce dragon terrorized the people. To keep it calm, they offered it sacrifices—until one day, the princess was chosen. Just as the dragon was about to devour her, Sant Jordi (Saint George) appeared and defeated the beast. From the dragon’s blood, a red rose bloomed. Sant Jordi picked it and offered it to the princess as a symbol of love and courage. Since then, this day has become a celebration of love, culture, and connection.
