The artwork is inspired by the Grooves on the face of the Ife head(one of the stolen Cultural Artefacts) which can be seen as an adaptation of the Facial tribal marks of the Yoruba people.
It is an attempt to Re-imagine the future of tribal marks using the ancient artefact as a source of inspiration.
