Vector Burn - Primitives EP Vector Burn marks his Onset Audio debut with four tracks of cinematic, synth-laden turbulence. A DNB veteran with a long history in the genre, Vector Burn has seen releases on Metalheadz, Critical, and Barcode. Stitching weighty drums between warped-out melodies, the Los Angeles producer crafts a sound that feels both mechanical and human- a deep dive into ancient and ethereal soundscapes, framed through a futuristic lens. Releases on Halloween Oct 31st 2025. 1. Membrane 2. Glyph 3. Thin Ice 4. Onset

The @metalheadzmusic wall in #bristol is an enterprise of mythic scale. This felt like my Sistine chapel. The largest production wall I have ever seen! #metalheadzwall #bristolgraffiti #headzwall #metalheadzwall

It’s been a long time since the days of CRIT002. Peep the original logo! @kasracritical was one of the first UK people to really believe in and support my music. It was foundational to me and helped set my musical journey of the next handful of decades. It’s breathtaking to see where @critical_music is now! I am beyond proud to have a release on this label, early as it is. Thank you and bigup to the @kasracritical ! (Hit me up, got some new material for ya!) I am back on hallowed ground in LDN and I am SUPER STOKED to witness the @critical_sound system at @fabriclondonofficial @fabricliveofficial !

As a junglist it is always special to go to UK. The spiritual home of this music I have spent most of my life with. Looking forward to @critical_music at @fabriclondonofficial and @metalheadzmusic at @bristol_movement this weekend!

OUT NOW! FORCE115 - @vector_burn_official ‘WITCH KING’ EP 🔗Available on all platforms - link in bio. The mimetic nature of jungle/dnb has always been uniquely powerful; the momentum of each successive iteration building an avalanche from a snowflake and a spell. In 2006, there were factions within DnB that were essentially in an arms race; speeding to the summit of dance floor utility expressed in terms of hardness. There was no limit to the darkness in those scorching days. Men lived like scorpions. It was a time of much angst, hyperbole and flame. A blaze of black metal illuminated the southwestern sky. Around the battle-scarred ravers lay strewn the detritus of disaffected music culture. In this maelstrom of solar flares and magnesium-hot drum samples, a mission was formed to bring funk to the hardcore, bring screamo the rave, and time stretch the mosh pit. Metal, hardcore, and industrial were the next logical progression of intensity for many junglists. Many lapsed heshers rediscovered how to ride the lightning in the cones of a bassbin. At the same time, on the same planet, tempos were fracturing and forming industry-wide schisms. Dubstep and half-step subdivided our collective rhythmic mind into fractals. Slow was now heavier than fast. To this extent, this work was manifested. These objects were forged in magma by blind monks with utilitarian discipline and cosmic transcendental spirit. Synth nebulas and tactical bass metallurgy combine in a combustive dance floor ritual that melds the ancient with the frontier of a possible future. We were the Witch King.
