🎉 Welcome, Jillian! 🎉
Helping guide the future of veterinary medicine is something we are very passionate about here at VCA Bellevue.
Every summer, we invite veterinary students to spend time with us learning the skills they need once they become Doctors of Veterinary Medicine.
This summer, we have Jillian joining us from the University of Georgia (GO DAWGS ❤️ 🖤)
Originally from West Bloomfield, Michigan, Jillian is a second-year veterinary student who enjoys hiking, climbing, and rollerblading. She's excited to be joining the team this summer and can't wait to learn from everyone at VCA Bellevue!
Make sure to give her a big PNW welcome while she spends her time with us!!
To every pet mom out there… your love means the world to them. 🐶🐱
Thank you for being the amazing caretakers you are! Happy Mother's Day from all of us at VCA Bellevue! 🌟🐾

Dog Anxiety Awareness Week brings attention to an incredibly important and sometimes stressful topic: canine anxiety.
Just like humans, dogs can experience stress and anxiety, and it can deeply affect their health, behavior, and quality of life. This awareness week is designed to educate pet parents on recognizing the signs of anxiety in dogs and finding effective, compassionate solutions to help them feel safe, confident, and calm
Dog anxiety can stem from a variety of causes—separation from their owners, loud noises like fireworks or thunderstorms, changes in routine or environment, past trauma, or even certain medical conditions. While it might seem like something a dog will “get over,” untreated anxiety can escalate into destructive behavior, aggression, depression, or physical illness.
If you feel as if your pet may have anxiety, the veterinary team at VCA Bellevue is here to help. Give us a call at 425-747-1770 to schedule an in-person appointment or phone consult with one of our veterinarians to start making a plan to get your pet feeling calmer and more confident.
🎉 CINCO DE MEOW!
We're celebrating our feline friends today. Whether they're turning into a 'purrito' or just relaxing, we love to see how your cats are celebrating! Post a photo in the comments! 🐾🐱

Today is Adopt a Shelter Pet Day
This day is to raise awareness for the thousands of pets waiting in shelters for forever homes, encouraging potential pet owners to visit local shelters.
Shelters across the country are at capacity with pets needing loving families. By adopting, you are saving a life that may be ended if not given a second chance.
Even if you are not looking to add to your family, you can help by donating, volunteering, or fostering for your local shelter and rescues.
🎉Happy 13 Years🎉
Join us in wishing Brooke, our Staff Supervisor and Inventory Manager, a Happy 13 YEARS with VCA!!

We ❤️ you, Brooke!!
🌸Springtime Safety Tip🌸
With the weather warming up, we know a lot of people will be opening their windows to let fresh air in.
Before doing so, make sure your screens are secure and don't have any large holes or damaged sections. And remember, do not leave your pets unattended with an open window.
Although we got into this field because we wanted to help animals, it is truly the pet owners who make it worth it.
We are so fortunate to have so many wonderful clients at VCA Bellevue.
