Join me for a beautiful evening honoring Mary Kay Schmidt on April 14th, 7:30 pm Swarthout Hall. Privileged to share the stage with my amazing friends and colleagues Ellen Sommer, David Colwell, Aaron Romm and Boris Vayner.

The KU Viola Choir made an epic trip to the KMEA 2026 Conference. Can't be more proud of this squad for delivering a powerful performance!

It was the opera season at KU. Congrats to all the singers and players for wonderful 4 performances! Kudos to all who worked behind the stage and the KU opera director, Stella Markou! Great to have my Dad visiting town and attending one of the performances!

My first visit to the American Viola Society Festival and Primrose International Competition at the Colburn School. Trio Lawrence proudly represented the KU School of Music with a performance of some of our favorite pieces by Dubois, Ichmouratov, and Angulo. It was great seeing some old friends and classmates, making new friends, and attending numerous lectures and recitals, all dedicated to Her Majesty VIOLA!
