I’d like to introduce you to the man who stood as my solid rock through the recent storm that my family and I faced — Penguin-san; a.k.a Edwin.
Kalau ada hal positif yg bisa diambil dari semua kejadian ini, adalah kenyataan bahwa aku diyakinin tiap hari kalau pilihanku memang gak salah. Selama persiapan nikah, Penguin-san terus membuktikan diri sebagai orang yg bisa aku pegang, mau terlibat dan belajar, dan terus berusaha disaat sedih dan senang.
Selama Papa sakit sampai Papa meninggal, Penguin-san datang terus dan bantu semua yg bisa dia bantu. Dia menawarkan diri nganter baju ganti ke rumah sakit di jam 1 pagi. Dia terus beliin buah-buahan dan juice pas Papa mulai g bisa makan. Papa diajak ngobrol, ketawa, en becanda sana sini. Semua dia lakukan tanpa komplen sekecil apapun. Aku jujur g tau gimana cara ngelewatin ini tanpa dia dan banyak sekali orang.
Gak heran Papa cepet banget jatuh cinta sama Penguin-san pas Papa masih hidup.
Aku percaya kita bisa liat karakter seseorang di masa-masa berat. Karena gampang untuk jadi baik disaat kita senang.

Eventhough he’s broken too.
He stood by me and loudly defends me.
His words turn to action and truth.
Even when it’s not always perfect.
He seldom promises, and when he does — he keeps it no matter what.
I learned that love is more than sparks and chemistry. I learned that an 8 year age gap truly doesn’t matter. I learned that love is holding hands even when we are fighting. Love is sitting side-by-side in a restaurant. Love tells you “ohayou” and “oyasumi” everyday without fail.
Love is in the everyday, ordinary life.
Love feels like a safe place to call home.
I truly believe in God’s timing. Dan mungkin Papa jalan duluan karena dia tau aku udah bisa dititipin. At least, that’s what I believe.
