The beetle is turning out nicely.
A lot of progress in one week, the HV battery is in place and all hooked up, the rear of the car has been cleaned up.
Up next is the 12v wiring for the conversion and then the first spin up of the motor.

Very proud of our little Mini and our team who successfully got through the DVLA inspection for EV conversion last week. She’s now the proud holder of a V5 stating ELECTRICITY as fuel type ⚡️🔌
Huge kudos to our very talented team that have worked on this car for many months, she’s an absolute beauty of a restoration and conversion. We’re looking forward to starting the testing and shake down phase where we can enjoy the Tesla power on some summer roads.

Very proud of our little Mini. She’s been out and about range testing to help calibrate the battery management system and state of charge gauge. 160 miles range from a 35 kWh battery pack! And that’s with regular town driving. Not bad at all.
