Collaboration is often considered the best way to create and grow, but it comes with so many moving parts. We all work differently — at different paces, with different ideas and different ways of bringing sketches to life.
The challenges and obstacles aren’t what make the process harder; they’re what make it so valuable. It’s the journey, not just the outcome — although we’re incredibly proud of the outcome too 🙂
The series of stools presented last month will be available online this weekend.

SPECIMEN works through material and language to transform surfaces. Each piece develops through an ongoing exchange between hand and machine, resulting in objects that exist between graphic expression and functional design.

Few months ago with @acollectionof.info we built a custom screen printing table made from plywood and a laser-cut perspex top for an A1 8 colours job on paper.
Made from 3 layers of wood with a hollow drum, this table has now become a modular vacuum bed able to handle fabric, wood, paper and stickers.
We used this table to print on @valchromat_official 🪚

In the beginning there was nothing but the void
A boundless abyss where silence spoke in shadows
Where time had no measure and space no end.
There was only the darkness vast and unyielding
A chaotic sea of forgotten thoughts and unspoken fears.
But from the depths of that eternal night
A spark of will ignited the stillness,
A flicker in the silence — a heartbeat of creation.
Through the fabric of unseen hands
Through the whispers of souls against the weight of the void
The veil of existence was broken open
And from the fractures, the light began to rise.
It did not come in a single burst
But as the slow steady pulse of life itself
Each moment each breath a labor each struggle a step
Towards the unveiling of something greater.
The veil of existence, the pain of becoming
Carved through the darkness, into the presence of eternity.
And so the light did not shine alone
It was the shadow of the eternal
The reflection of all that had been
And all that would be, waiting to be understood.
