We kick off spring quarter with a Tea Time Concert by Varo String Quartet, lauded for their âkiller ambianceâ (AudPod). Their program "Another Living Soul" features works by Paul Novak, Kari Watson, Nicole Lizee, and Felix Mendelssohn.

A big thank you to @westernmichu for hosting our residency this week! We loved working with student composers and chamber groups and had a blast presenting our fugue-forward program in recital to end our visit.

The story has proved pivotal for many of Amayaâs sonic investigationsâbut âDialecto de Ărbolâ in particular.â

Noted GhostTM Felix Mendelssohn died at the young age of 38 - but heâs our violinist @carmenabelson âs pick for which composer she would give 50 more years to. Our Rosehill Cemetery concert features Mendelssohnâs String Quartet No. 6, the last major work he wrote; join us on Oct 28 at the May Chapel to check out the beautiful, wild things he was up to before he died!
