This course is for anyone that identifies as a BIPOC Queer (Black, indigenous people of color) 18+ A place where we can meet, connect, move and create community together. It’s all about exchanging, experimenting, and listening together. Come through! (limited capacity so make sure to register in Bio) 📅 Thursday, 23 April 📍 Varmeverket Free to attend. ——— This means a lot lot to me to be able to have Ableton reach out to me to plan this sound experience. I re-started my career with sound, maybe very few people know that, but after 10 years in startups, I quit and decided to study music. I went to a production school in the middle of Australia pandemic (thanks forever @liveschoolmusic ) - which was the best thing I could have done. I was in my 30s at that time, and I thought it was too late to restart. And I continue building, and believing in myself… I crafted these sessions with a lot of love, and Im also really glad this happens to be in Varmeverket, which is my second home in Sweden, and where I got to be Unmute alumni. Amandine Chincholle presents The Alabaster Study, a modular two-part look developed at Värmeverket in Stockholm that explores the balance between protection and vulnerability. The design pairs a structured vest with a blouse whose sleeves bloom into exaggerated volume, creating a dialogue between control and freedom within the silhouette. Working in a monochromatic white palette, the project removes distraction to focus on form, where folds, shadows, and movement express a quiet strength against the raw industrial setting.
