NEW PORTFOLIO: After having meant to do it for the past few months, I’ve finally set aside some time and finished my new portfolio. I didn’t just shove a few extra projects in my old one either, I decided to redesign the whole thing just to make it extra fun. I’m genuinely really happy with it though - it’s nice sifting through projects and having time to actually appreciate them. I caught myself thinking ‘I designed this stuff.. I’m not rubbish!’ multiple times, which is a bonus of the whole process! Lando’s 2024 season helmet: I think I’ve said this about each helmet so far, but THIS is most probably the biggest thing I’ve done yet. New season, new helmet. This was so much fun to work on, (although designing curved shapes to fit around curved areas on a curved helmet isn’t as easy as it sounds..) and I’m over the moon with how it turned out. The reception this has got and still receives is amazing. QUADRANT : THE JAPAN COLLECTION So excited to share this; I recently worked on Quadrant’s Japan collection (which dropped yesterday) - finally seeing it all over instagram is incredible! The whole thing was tonnes of fun to work on, notably the wolf guy and the Q.CO logo, I was pretty chuffed with those.. The whole thing has been levelled up by @lando , @maxfewtrell and the @quadrant team taking it to Tokyo and pulling off one of the best shoots I’ve seen in a long time! The cherry on the cake was my work ending up on a Liberty Walk R32, I’ve followed that company for years so to see that is honestly mind blowing. Insane. To celebrate 1M followers on YouTube, we wanted to craft a special gift for our car content creator and brand ambassador in Germany. PEACEFUL RESEARCH: You might have seen me mention Peaceful Research on my stories etc before, but I haven’t actually explained what it is: Peaceful Research marks a formal entry into the art space; a collaborative practice exploring the intersection of motorsport heritage, industrial design, and contemporary culture. Co-founded by me and @ryanxbale , we aim to unite two distinct yet complementary backgrounds - my design work for the likes of Nike, New Balance and Formula 1’s Lando Norris, and Ryan’s experience building and collecting classic cars and designing spatial environments used by the likes of adidas, Puma and The Basement. Together, we’re building a body of work that treats automotive history as both medium and muse. Each piece is researched and meticulously crafted, often using reclaimed or obsolete components. These are objects with stories, textures, and previous lives of their own. The intention is not nostalgia but reinterpretation; transforming engineering remnants into contemporary art and goods. We’ve already released two pieces, and E30 bonnet we restored and redesigned, and a Ferrari speedo turned into a clock set in concrete. We’ve been having tonnes of exciting conversations about collaborations, commissions and more. I’ve created passion projects/brands before - but this one feels really special. I can’t wait to show what we can do and what the future may hold for this. HAPPY NEW YEAR: 2025 has been mega. My best yet as far as work is concerned. I’ve worked with some lovely people and incredible brands and feel insanely lucky to call this my ‘job’. FULL GAS GARAGE: Not too long ago I worked on some cool bits for @fullgasgarage : Jon gave me an open brief and essentially wanted me to go away and have some fun with it, ideal. The result is a collection that I’m really happy with! HEIZR LOGISTICS: Absolutely loved this one - Felix, owner of @heizrclub , jumped on a call a few months ago and asked me to create the branding and merch for the upcoming ‘Heizr Logistics’ event - set in the industrial scenery of Wolff & Müller’s grounds in Stuttgart, where machinery and concrete contrast perfectly with motorsport. I was given free rein with the design, which is always both incredible and daunting in equal measures; but in the end it turned out beautifully. Really chuffed with how it all came together - especially as there were so many elements: logos, tees, A2 poster, car decals, stickers, tote bags and even a shipping container. There’s a few shots on this carousel of the event, but I’d highly recommend heading over to their Instagram/website to check out the whole coverage - one of the best I’ve seen for a good while.
