I now work with pigments I have foraged, cultivated or grown and then processed myself. The origins of these colours range from stones, plants and fungi to bacteria grown in a lab. These pigments are then made into oil paint and used in sections of my paintings, adding layers of stories of the different colours to my works.
This work is on display in ”Coexistent” group show in Galleria Toinen Silmä for the rest of the week
