- Ultra proud of this ones turn out. He was a mix of white base + purple grey for skin texture and musculature (the purple to help the grey not look flat). 🩶
- the white base was airbrushed but the blue lines were brush free hand. After a couple tries of the tape method with awful turnout I just freeballed it and liked the outcome better. Alot of measuring but i liked it in the end 💙
- The fangs are a little hard to see but theyre actually a row of top teeth with fangs added! I sculpted them a while ago to be like cat fangs but i liked them being just a tad subtle for Akaza.

Sacred Light Luka • Alien Stage
Going for a hyper realistic ultra textured version of Luka’s art for Sacred Light. I knew right away I wanted a lifted look so I went for a stacked adhesive latex peel, carefully underpainted each section, then applied my staples. The light refracting in the first image was done by ghost sheeting a dollar store roll of clear acrylic ❤️🔥

Madara Mikejima from his one very slay card 🃏
I stuck to keeping his makeup looking similarly to the expression hes making in the og card, I feel like its initially what made me really love the card when it released.
I started by fully covering my brow and drawing overtop, shaded the upper inner corner of my eye to give my eyebrows a lifted look, and used lipstick paste and setting powder for the small arm marks. Also the horns were a paaaain but I made them out of eva foam based off my own pattern i made with tin foil and duct tape lolll it was very small but i was happy with it because im also so hit or miss when it comes to transfering the drawn pattern to foam.
Also!!! So proud to say theres zero digital touchups to the makeup and wig, ive been so happy with how little I feel the need to edit any of my makeup the past two years and Id like to keep that going as a personal goal 🤸

Face Paint Tips- To create layers to the purple skin tone I used my mainshade, then two supporting shades: one tone warmer and one tone cooler than my mainshade. Around areas of the face that normally get more warmth I lightly splattered the warmer tone (eyes, etc), then in cooler toned areas of the face I used the cooler tone (contour areas). I prefer airbrushed hybrid makeup because it becomes sweat/water resistant and makes for less stress when it comes to color transferring on other surfaces. The splattering effects not only aids the real-looking skin effect, but also helps to conceal your prosthetic edges.

My Vampires!!
Right at the top of what I most wanted to paint for Howl this year is their vampires. I think theres something particularly cool about having a look thats meant to be scary and sexy, and I think its challenging to be balancing those factors along with time as youre trying to get everyone out on time.
After a few weekends of getting the hang of airbrush haunt makeup, I knew I wanted to paint at least one vampire by the end. After working with @angelymua@caesardavidc and @paintedimagination I finally felt like I was ready to give it a shot! And before I knew it the vampire makeup turned out to be the one I looked forward to the most each night.
I think theres alot to improve and I can already see spots that I would do differently now but I really liked having a makeup that took me a hot second to wrap my head around because it means I extra appreciate having that skill now.
Thank you all the vamps for being my favorite zone and for being the best cheerleaders in the park, I was over the moon getting to paint everyone and Im excited to come back next year and get the hang of the next makeup 🎨🦇❤️🔥
